At Outwood Grange Academies Trust we are a family of schools that strive to raise standards and transform lives. Outwood Academy Acklam is excited to offer this opportunity to work as an Advanced Teaching Assistant.

The successful applicant will provide classroom support and out of class support to our amazing children, timetabled and planned by our inclusion department.

You will be empowered with the knowledge to support the learning of our well rounded children.

We are looking for an individual who has high aspirations for children, committed and passionate about learning; who has the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our children and share our goal of 'Students First'.

The role of an Advanced Teaching Assistant across our Academy is to promote the learning and welfare of children by providing practical and learning support to children, including those with Education Health Care Plans, under the direction of the class teacher SENDCo or the extended inclusion team.

Outwood Grange Academies Trust provides a high-quality learning and cultural environment that inspires and motivates children.

Whether you are ambitious for progression, or determined to be an outstanding member of our support team, Outwood Academy Acklam is the place for you.

We are a welcoming and supportive academy, with a relentless determination to provide the very best education for every child.

We place students at the centre of everything we do, with a focus on creating a culture of success and a positive climate for learning.

In a beautiful setting, enjoy the state-of-the-art facilities that the academy has to offer.

We have a holistic and inclusive approach to the work that we do.

The Academy has received accolades and external recognition, with the awarding of the Inclusion Quality Mark - Centre of Excellence, alongside the Carnegie 'Gold' Mental Health Award for the work we do to support our diverse and dynamic student body.
