Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate the full onboarding process of new starters, starting with sending offers and
contracts and including full processing of new hire information and completing right to work checks. Ensuring that the company's procedures comply with employment regulations

  • Monitoring various aspects of employee's performance, such as attendance and sick leave (Bradford Scores)
  • Maintain and update HR records and employee details using digital people management tool (MoorePay)
  • Act as a first point for HR enquiries to employees and managers across the organisation
  • Handling disciplinary processes and formal grievances
  • Keep updated with all employment law & regulations
  • Ensure that HR manual & Employees Handbook is maintained to internal and external requirements
  • Support monthly payroll process, ensuring all employee records are accurate; starters, leavers and changes are processed accurately and on time for payroll deadline
  • Create monthly reports for Board Meetings

Requirements for Role

Essential

  • Has all round generalist HR experience (at least 12 months)
  • Driven and selfmotivated
  • Personable and builds sound relationships across all levels of business
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalise ideas
  • The ability to remain calm in stressful situations including during disciplinary hearings or staff conflicts
  • Solid ethics and morals and sound judgement
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
  • Good understanding and knowledge of employment law
  • Excellent IT skills Desirable
  • CIPD Level 5 or above
  • Experience with TUPE

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract


Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
