A successful high-growth services business based in Basingstoke seeks an experienced Payroll Specialist to join the team on a part time (25 hours per week) basis.
This is a permanent position, which can be performed over 3, 4 or 5 days depending on preference of the job holder.
Responsibilities will include:
- Process payroll for UKbased employees accurately and in a timely manner (approx 400 staff)
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity
- Calculate and process deductions, and adjustments
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Stay uptodate with payroll regulations and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee information
- Assist with payroll tax filings and audits
Experience required:
- Previous experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
- Proficient with IT, ideally with good MS Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

£28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
