Senior Educational Psychologist - Ref: CH10422

Salary - £52,440 - £60,690 per annum (including up to 3 SPA points)

Contract:
Full time, permanent


Walsall Educational Psychology Service is a creative and supportive service which is looking to recruit an innovative Senior Educational Psychologist to help lead and manage our growing team, explore new and creative ways of working and to support the exciting development of our service.


About us


Walsall EPS is situated within the Inclusion Service and has a key role to play in the delivery of the SEND strategy and the Inclusion strategy.

The service has strong links with other teams within the Inclusion Service, the Access Service, as well as with health and social care colleagues.

Walsall EPS delivers a balance of work, including statutory work, core work (including Early Years, critical incident support and support for vulnerable children and young people with EHCPs) and a range of psychological support being traded to schools and settings.

Walsall EPS is highly regarded by schools and settings and demand for the traded service remains high.

Walsall Council recognises the value of Educational Psychology at an operational and strategic level and we are continually reflecting on, and shaping, our service delivery to meet the changing needs within the borough.

We are looking for a skilled EP with leadership experience who can join our senior team and support the future development of the service.

Areas of specialism can be agreed with the PEP.

All applicants must hold the relevant professional qualification and be registered with the HCPC.

The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
