I'm looking to speak with experienced payroll administrators who would be interested in taking their career up a notch and working for a leading accountancy practice.


In this role, you will be reporting into the Payroll manager who has been with the company since the start of their career and has completed a payroll qualification funded by the business, an opportunity you will be allowed to undertake The business owner is a forward thinking chartered accountant who has been named as a top 100 female entrepreneur, won multi awards and strives to do the very best for their clients.

This small but perfectly formed business has a true professional, warm and friendly feel, with a far longer than average tenure.


  • Some client are on weekly, two weekly, four weekly and monthly salaries, you will be running payroll for around 200 clients.

Responsibilities:


  • Processing a high number of weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Requesting overtime hours, bonuses and commission details from clients
  • Pensions auto enrolment, reenrolment and processing
  • Assisting in Calculating P11D's
  • Holiday calculations and pro
- rata holiday entitlement/ accrued hours

  • Maternity and paternity pay processing, requesting and advising
  • Answering client payroll enquiries and queries
  • Undertaking HMRC enquiries and queries
  • CIS returns
  • Processing payroll on brightpay (previous experience preferred but not essential)
  • Client management and handling of sensitive issues

Person Specification

  • Possess proactive work ethic and has a demonstrable track record to reflect independent working
  • Can demonstrate the ability to perform a manual calculation
  • Has experience with high workloads and from pressured environment.
  • Customer service and brand orientated with the ability to hold our internal beliefs and ways of working.
  • Possess the ability to work in a small tight knit team
  • A real team player

Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
