Our client is a well-established water treatment company who provide professional legionella, water treatment and water hygiene services to a national based and mixed portfolio of clients, are now looking for a competent and confident Water Hygiene / WaterTreatment Engineer in and around the Birmingham area.

The ideal applicant will come from a strong Water Hygiene / Treatment background, undertaking various duties such as servicing TMVs, inspection and disinfection of CWST, Monitoring of air and water systemsand making sure that they comply with current H&S regulations.

Applicants from Coventry, Warwick, Dudley and the surrounding areas will be taken into consideration.

Qualifications & experience:
" Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
" Must have previous experience working as water hygiene/treatment engineer.
" A qualification in remedial plumbing will be advantageous.
" Well versed with the water treatment industry and legislations.
" Competent with Microsoft office package.

Key Responsibilities:
" Monitor the client's air and water systems to ensure they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
" The cleaning, chlorination and maintenance on both hot and cold water systems, steam boilers and cooling towers
" Temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysing water systems.
" Inspection and Disinfection of CWST.
" Servicing TMVs, shower cleans, tank cleans etc.
" Dealing with softeners and dosing units.
" Install and maintain dosing systems.
" Undertake training and mentoring of staff.
" Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
