Description of the Business Line or Department
Cross Asset Execution (EXS) is a global team, managing the electronic trading technology for the agency execution business.

Working very closely with our business partners across MARK, and our clients, we deliver a range of electronic trading services includingmarket connectivity, FIX certification, Algorithmic trading, Smart Order Routing, Program Trading and Pre / Post Trade Analytics.

We provide access to more than 125 markets globally and have more than 2,000 end users and client FIX connections.


Summary of responsibilities

  • Ensuring that market connectivity projects are established to cover changes required by the anticipated Exchange Driven Changes (EDC)
  • Work closely with stakeholders compliance, business users, exchanges and vendors to ensure that EDC project plans are sufficiently detailed and that timetables are appropriate
  • Create appropriate documentation and procedures to manage projects efficiently
  • Ensure all project deliverables are clearly defined and tracked to completion
  • Exposing dependencies, risks and issues associated with plans, leading efforts to resolve these and holding individuals accountable for resolutions
  • Briefing management on progress against the delivery plans
  • Drive the weekly planning/reporting cycle including clear reporting of progress towards deliverables and features
  • Facilitate and lead discussions
  • Identify and resolve key dependencies

Competencies

  • Good knowledge of European Cash and Equity Derivatives market connectivity
  • In depth experience on the Fidessa platform and specifically EMMA
  • Prior development experience on Fidessa and confidence accessing and understanding Fidessa server scripts and files
  • Experience building detailed project plans, risk, issues, assumptions and dependency logs and coordinating with multiple external work streams to understand dependencies and assess impact on schedules
  • Experience of owning the endtoend delivery of projects covering all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of interfacing with senior management
  • Ability to multitask across a large and complex project structure
  • Excellent organisation, planning and scheduling skills
