Teaching Assistant, predominantly 1:1 with a pupil

Hours: 20 hrs pw (08:30 - 12:30)

Basis:
ASAP for the remainder of the academic year (July 2023)

Rate:
Band C pro rata (£10.98)

Rawmarsh Thorogate School is a happy 1 form entry school situated in Rawmarsh, Rotherham.

We are looking for a teaching assistant to work with an enthusiastic and able pupil in lower key stage 2.

The pupil is easily distracted and can be distracting, resulting in limited work being achieved.

Having an adult to remind them to stay focussed has worked wonders and this is a provision we would like to maintain.

English and maths to GCSE C level or equivalent.
Real enthusiasm and patience for working with children.
An understanding of safeguarding principles and willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
