Newrooms have an exciting opportunity for a confident and positive individual to join the team here at Methwold in Norfolk as a Projects Administrator.


We are looking for someone to co-ordinate our customer projects; pro-actively taking the lead in customer liaison and the products purchasing function.

About The Role


You will be working alongside the MD and other members of the team to ensure that our customers receive a top-class service, first time, every time.


Ideally, we are looking for an individual who is self-managed, pro-active and experienced at dealing with all levels in an organisation.

An excellent communicator, you will enjoy working closely with customers, suppliers and the team as a whole, continuously developing and maintaining collaborative relationships.


You may be someone from a project management background or similar who is now looking to make a difference in a smaller family run organisation.


Day to day responsibilities include:


  • Liaising with customers and being the main point of contact from the commencement of projects through to successful completion and postinstallation support.
  • Handling of both customer and supplier queries and taking responsibility for any remedial matters ensuring that these are dealt with and resolved in a timely manner to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Management of the ordering system and delivery process, including the checking and bookingin of product deliveries by working with the MD, designers and fitters to ensure that all paperwork is produced and products are ordered and ready in the warehouse as required for the delivery and installation schedule.
  • Taking a proactive role in weekly operations meetings to ensure that any issues raised are dealt with and followed up in a timely manner and coordinating with the rest of the team to ensure actions are completed.


The role is varied and diverse ranging from speaking to customers, resolving an issue with a supplier, placing orders and working in the warehouse to check and book in deliveries.

With a competitive salary, whilst this role is ideally a full time position, we are open to applicants who would like to work part-time and would be able to work at least 30 hours per week over 5 days.
