Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Horticulturist to join our team. As a Horticulturist, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for plants, gardens, and landscapes. Your expertise in horticulture will contribute to the overall beauty and health of our outdoor spaces.


Duties:

• Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
• Plant, cultivate, and maintain gardens and flower beds
• Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases
• Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain their shape and promote growth
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
• Operate power tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and chainsaws
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners for various gardening tasks
• Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute landscaping projects

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of horticulture principles and practices
• Experience in groundskeeping and landscape maintenance
• Familiarity with different types of plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
• Proficiency in using hand tools for gardening tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong problemsolving skills to identify plant health issues and implement appropriate solutions
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions

Note:
All positions must be paid including internship positions.


Salary:
£20,344.81-£32,111.61 per year

• Gardening: 2 years (preferred)
