Description

I am partnering with a growing FMCG business based in Watford to recruit a part time Assistant Accountant.

The company are hitting numbers higher than pre covid and growing in all teams, providing a great opportunity for development and progression.

Thisrole will be crucial in supporting the Management Accountant to prepare all month end numbers for reporting to senior management, in a timely and accurate manner.

Supporting the month end process from start to finish including production of the Board Pack
Monthly VAT reconciliation and submission
Supporting project work to improve efficiency within the finance team
Preparing accruals and prepayments
Posting month end journals
Understand and monitor complex customer accruals balance
Balance sheet/bank reconciliations
Business partnering with departments as required to understand spend in the period vs budget
Adhoc tasks including analysing costs in detail and making comparisons to budget.
