Marketing Assistant

Location - Margate

Salary - Circa £25,000 per annum
Are you looking to work for a well-known and respected company?

Do you have experience of pro-actively sourcing/identifying marketing opportunities?

We have a fantastic opportunity in Margate for a Marketing Assistant to work for one of our clients. In this role you will be working full time, Monday to Friday. Finishing at 1pm on Friday.


Responsibilities

  • Order form updates
  • Recording and sending product samples for review/competitions/raffle prizes
  • Support and attend consumer and trade events
  • Create regular and adhoc trade communications
  • Proof reading adverts/club magazines/blogs/packaging
  • Raising Purchase Orders
  • Recording and organising video & photography for marketing samples
  • Working on the development of the Amazon Brand Store and other trade customer requirements
  • Liaising with the online/website team regarding website content, including updating product paint schemes
  • Supporting range launches
  • Briefing and coordinating consumer and trade press adverts
  • Supporting brand manager updating and maintaining the trade showroom
  • Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

  • Multitasking
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Willingness to acquire knowledge in marketing of consumer products
  • Computer literate
  • Effective written & documentation skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and initiative to work independently
  • Possess a flexible approach as the position can demand additional hours when major projects are in progress.
  • Have a full driving licence and the ability to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home if required
