First Bus are looking for a Commercial Revenue Executive for our growing operation

A bit more about the role

  • Managing price and yield tactics for our new Aircoach operation.
  • Achieve the revenue targets set out in budgets.
  • Work within the existing Revenue Management system and Divisional Pricing Team to ensure pricing strategies are appropriate.
  • Monitoring demand drivers and changes to ensure market conditions are swiftly reacted to and maximised.
  • Develop and own commercial strategies for the service, in association with the Commercial Development Manager and the Marketing Team.
  • Attend regular commercial reviews with the Commercial Development Manager and Commercial Director to discuss trading performance, revenue strategies, and forecast positions.
  • Work with the wider LBU Team to ensure that revenue strategies on and around key event dates are appropriate.
  • Communication with the Airport authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Service Support Team to ensure the balance between the commercial focus and customer experience is maintained.
  • Support the wider Commercial Team to cover holiday, sickness and project work as required.

What we'll expect from you


You'll be naturally analytical with strong revenue management experience, with the desire to work in a fast-paced target driven environment.

You'll be comfortable and confident making commercial decisions.


You'll also have:

  • Strong commercial drive and acumen, with a proven track record of commercial decision making leading to success.
  • Ability to analyse data and identify trends and experience of using this to improve commercial performance.
  • Good communication and influencing skills, and a proven travel record of achieving commercial targets.
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills.
  • Resilience and Flexibility and be able to embrace change to meet the varying needs of the business.
  • Proactive, Selfmotivated, enthusiastic, personable and energetic.
