  • EMEA Regional Head of Solution Delivery & Delivery Engagement Management

Senior level individual to lead a team engaged to deliver multiple client software implementation projects.

Act as the go to person for delivery to the client base and the primary escalation point for EMEA based projects.

Heading up a team of technical implementation consultants across core products and in time step up to take the lead on all product engagements across the regional client portfolio.

A confident, articulate & intelligent communicator who can deal with large, corporate clients in the multiple sectors with different stakeholders across varied functions.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget and to a high quality
  • Ensure projects maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate and manage the scope, timing, and budget of multiple concurrent projects
  • Directly manage a team of implementation consultants, both supervision and coaching
  • Work effectively with implementation project managers who have a dotted lined into this role
  • Contribute to a robust client engagement model to maximise ongoing and future business
  • Own and manage senior level relationships personally both with clients and internally
  • Effectively mitigate project risks through risk identification and proactive planning to ensure revenue is protected and issues that threaten it are well communicated
  • Manage resource utilisation and allocation to ensure all projects have the correct resources assigned with the appropriate skill sets and capacity to deliver a quality product
  • Act as the primary contact point for Sales to ensure full visibility of resourcing and effective planning vs pipeline book of work
  • Work closely with Product Managers and other regional heads to optimise delivery practices and technical implementations to build close client relationships and build trust
  • Maintain a billable utilisation target in excess of 70% (70% of 184 days per year i.e. 129 days per year, average 10.75 days per month)
  • Take full accountability for the EBITDA of the region through maximised revenue and effective cost management including the use of low cost delivery teams and partners

Key Skills

  • Commercially astute and cost conscious
  • Ensures actions and decisions align to cost and revenue responsibilities and objectives of the area
  • Seek opportunities to develop customer relationships and through this provide an invaluable insight to STL
  • Strong background in Professional Services/programme management/Software delivery in the financial software industry (Vendor side)
  • Track record of working in the software industry in a supply side role
  • Experience of senior client stakeholder management in a complex organisation
  • Proven track record of driving change in people and processes
  • Strong leader of people
  • Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment
  • Work closely with other regional heads to promote best practice as published for all consultants, and work with other internal divisions to define best practice where none is apparent
  • Design and Implement training for skills deficiencies in team

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of running a similar team size (20+ including permanent, contractors and partner resources)
  • Previous experience working in a software implementation environment

Qualifications

  • Master's degree educated or equivalent industry experience.

Experience

  • Prior experience of working in a Professional Services leadership role within a vendor organisation or in another relevant financial services organisation with managerial and budgetary responsibilities
