We are now looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager for a large heavy manufacturing business located in Sheffield South Yorkshire This is a senior quality role offering the opportunity to lead and develop the quality function within a complex metal manufacturing environment The Role Reporting to the Head of Quality will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System QMS and associated accreditations Key Responsibilities Maintain and develop Quality Management System in line with AS9100 Rev D ISO900115 NADCAP and IEC17025 Ensure compliance with customer industry regulatory standards Lead development review approval of quality procedures work instructions policies Conduct Internal & External Audits Plan conduct internal audits across manufacturing inspection support functions Coordinate support external audits from customers certification bodies regulatory bodies Drive closure of audit findings through effective corrective preventative action Act main point contact customer quality requirements compliance issues Manage customer complaints structured problem-solving activities lead root cause investigations using recognised tools Candidate Requirements Minimum years experience quality leadership role Aerospace heavy manufacturing Strong knowledge AS9100 Rev D ISO9001 NADCAP IEC17025 Experience conducting internal audits supporting external audits Strong capability root cause analysis statistical methods quality tools SPC MSA PPAP PFMEA APQP Confident communicator leadership stakeholder management skills Analytical structured approach strong Right First Time mindset Why Apply Competitive salary £40000–£50000 Opportunity join large well-established organisation Senior role scope influence develop systems strategy Monday Friday Days Based flexible working Stable long-term opportunity technical leadership exposure For more information before you apply please contact Glyn Dobb at W Talent directly
