Purpose of job:


  • Works with senior members of the IT team and wider business to ensure IT projects are designed, managed and delivered to budget and on time
  • Works directly within the product delivery and development team to ensure a robust project delivery methodology [SCRUM] is followed
  • Adopts an approach of continuous review and enhancement to project delivery working practices
  • Ensure that the team project management platform is well managed and continually enhanced

Accountabilities:


  • To work directly with IT members on the analysis, design and management of projects including initial documentation, periodic review and technical governance
  • Work as part of the wider IT team to ensure that projects are run and managed in a uniform manner including the timely reporting of progress to stakeholders
  • Development and management of project plans, define and deliver individual project deliverables as a part of the overall program deliverables, manage the expectations of stakeholders, manage project relationships, manage project teams in delivering theprojects, communicate and manage tasks and activities to a schedule with the team, and provide feedback to team members as appropriate
  • Effectively manage the project plan, scope / budget / resource management, time management (activities and task planning), communications, risk management, QA and testing, user training, ongoing maintenance and support
  • Work with external stakeholders, internal auditors and our Accreditor as required
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

Qualifications/Experience:


  • Educated to degree level or substantial work experience at a level demonstrating graduate ability
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in Agile project management / business analysis within software development projects, or relevant combination of education and experience
  • Thorough working knowledge of the SDLC models / Scrum methodology, IT systems and their direct implementation to projects
  • Leadership and management skills in leading technical personnel through the delivery of software development projects
  • Certification in SCRUM agile project management

Skills:


  • Solid technical background, with understanding or handson experience in software development and web technologies
  • Experience of M365 technologies
  • Willingness to take charge and provide direction / leadership.
  • Results orientated, willingness to commit to a direction and drive operations to completion
  • Ability to articulate a vision of transformation efforts and a sense of mission.
  • Ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience of influencing outcomes, with interpersonal and negotiating skills.
