A Snapshot of Your Apprenticeship

Part of being an apprentice atSiemens Energy means you get to work on real life projects whilst also beingsupported on a guided learning journey.

This will be a 4 year apprenticeshipwhere you will complete the Engineering Fitter Standard.

This training leads to a Level 2 Foundation qualification and alongside this you will develop your knowledge by undertaking a Level 3 technical qualification. Relevant functional skills are also undertaken if required.
Following on from this you will progress to complete an NVQ Level 3 qualification. Whilst completing the NVQ Level 3 you will undertake a series of work placements within the business which will be predominantly workshop based and include both fitting and machining.

To complete the apprenticeship you are required to achieve multiple qualifications which demands a high level of motivation and the commitment to study and complete work in your own time.
Inaddition, you should have achieved or be on track to achieve at least 4 GCSEs,or equivalent, at Level 4 (C) or above which must include Maths, English(Language or Literature) and Science.
