Job Summary:

The MAC Specialist will be a flexible operator across the full range of moves and changes activities within the clients London campus.

Responsible for relocation of personal items, filing and furniture to support Moves & Changes projects as well as day to day requests.

The person should have knowledge of the industry and relocation/moving process in general, should be a good team player, responsible and punctual, showing positive attitude and good communication skills with the Client.


They will be expected to operate in a client facing environment, fulfilling pre-assigned jobs and tickets but also taking ownership of any additional work which may arise during the process.

The ability to build strong relationships not only within the team but also with the clients will be key and should be reinforced through excellent delivery of service.


Reporting directly to the MAC Team leader the specialist will be required to undertake at different times all of the key elements below but also anything else reasonably requested by the client.


Day to day - key responsibilities:
Delivery, relocation and collection of packing crates for staff moves.

Packing, relocation and unpacking of IT equipment.

Moving personal items.

Moving filing cabinets.

Packing and unpacking of filing for office users.

Furniture/meeting rooms set ups.

Assist furniture fitter with furniture fit outs and repairs.

Support to Helpdesk and Exec Services as required


Education
General Education GCSE, minimum 5 at pass levels required.


Skills:

Competent in Microsoft office packages specifically Excel and Outlook

Experience of moves and changes processes is desirable.

Experience of furniture fitting and installation would be an advantage.


Experience
12-24 months of experience in the moves and changes environment is desirable.


Aptitude
Punctuality, good timekeeping.

Ability to work in a team.

Friendly manner and good communication skills.

Willing to work out of hours and weekends.

Careful and methodical approach to work.

Responsible attitude to other people's personal possessions and general/confidential filing.
