Marketing Assistant

Full time permanent role - office based.

Mon

  • Fri office hours 37.5 hours per week. Part time option (75% of time) could also be available on a pro rata salary.
Burgess Hill. Plenty of free parking on site available. Office 15 minute walk from local railway station.


Salary:
£22000-£23000 depending on experience plus great company benefits


We are delighted to be working alongside our very established and successful client as they seek to recruit a Marketing Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role:


Duties and responsibilities:

To support and develop marketing activity and use available resources to provide qualified leads for Business Development teams for follow-up

To proactively create sales leads onto the CRM system from web visitor analytics, Linked In targeting, website registrations and other sources

Qualify prospect and contact names identified from various sources including exhibitions, press cuttings and social media by telephone. (Approximately 15%-20% of weekly work.)

To assist with the update of local web page content collating data, images, and loading content

To write relevant written copy and produce video content for social media streams ensuring compliance with corporate approval. Monitor and comment on supplier and employee profiles and posts

To assist the Marketing Manager with general marketing administration such as press cuttings reports KPI's, Price Lists, Product Launch, Product Notifications and other duties

To participate in Sales and Marketing Meetings

Be compliant with Group Corporate ID and social media policy.


Qualifications Required
GCSE Maths and English to level C or above or equivalent A' level or equivalent degree


Experience Required
Experience in marketing, digital marketing, and social media for business, (preferred) or social media for personal or educational activities. Experience of using graphic design software/apps and experience of creating and editing videos content for socialmedia. Good level of software knowledge. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint,, Outlook


Competencies / skills required:


A reliable, team spirited personality with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and comfortable with appearing and speaking on video.

Attention to detail and a creative thinker able to understand product features and benefits and write compellingcopy. Able to prioritise effectively and work to agreed deadlines
