Technical Surveyor

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for providing operational and technical support in the delivery of responsive repairs executed by the in-house maintenance team and or support contractors.

Plan, organise and undertaking pre and post inspections and the preparation of schedules of works using relevant NHF Schedule of Rates relating to responsive and voids works.

Have knowledge of disrepair cases and diagnosing building defects.

Supervise and effectively co-ordinate the work of internal and external contractors, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with specifications, legislation, relevant codes of practice and customer requirements.

Prepare detailed specifications and schedules of work and procuring these works through tendering protocols.
Manage works within the scope of the CDM Regulations.
Delivering maintenance repairs in line with key performance indicators including cost, quality, customer satisfaction and safety.
