Description

A ranked 'Good' Ofsted Academy is looking to recruit a Modern Foreign Language specialist on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will be required to teach a range of age groups from
Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 and must also have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Teach French and Spanish up to KS5, though if there is a preferred specialism this will be considered
Appropriate planning and preparation of courses to support curriculum development
Assess class work, homework and other projects
Fulfil reporting requirements
Manage the behaviour of students in classrooms and around the Academy
Differentiate to meet the needs of learners
Adhere to all agreed departmental and whole school policies
Pastoral responsibility of 'Form Tutor'
