Graduate Civil Engineer - Leeds

Job summary

This is a graduate civil engineer role that will provide opportunities to train, grow and progress in a direction that suits your own particular skillset and interests. You will work on a variation of live projects, within a large multidisciplinary design team, and with support from both the design and site teams, you will offer positive impact on the community.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering designs and calculations
• Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules
• Work closely and collaboratively with the construction team to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and beyond
• Prepare designer risk assessments, health & safety risk assessments, and associated documents and reports.
• You will positively engage and collaborate with the Client, managing relationships and adopting a One-Team approach

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc)
• Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing
• Considered approach to problem solving
