Description
Up and Away Aviation Detailing run a 24/7 operation cleaning private and commercial jets across the UK; and the Operations team are the hub of the business.
The Operations team support day to day operations, maximising efficiency and being the valuable connection between the clients and detailing team.
The Controller will have strong attention to detail and be confident with scheduling and workforce planning, putting the customer at the heart of what they do.
Previous operations or coordinating experience in the aviation sector is essential for this position, and full training will be provided.
Due to the nature of the position, you must be able to pass a criminal record check.Duties of the Operations Controller will include:
- Managing the day to day operations and deliverables of the teams.
- Ensure the work scope is agreed with customers and aligns with relative teams.
- Agree schedule/logistics with customer.
- Continuous monitoring and action of requests by suppliers and clients.
- Maintain good professional relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
- Ensure all outstanding requests are followed up on a daily basis.
- Ensure the most cost effective planning is actioned.
- Keep up to date with activities of management using the appropriate network of communication.
- The ability to work on a shift pattern.
- The ability to work under pressure in a time critical and changing environment.
