Care Facilitator

Duties and Responsibilities of this Role

To provide support and care for our Members with learning difficulties and disabilities.
To design and lead a range of activities, including creative activities (arts and crafts, sewing etc), beauty treatments (nail painting, massages), athletic activities (games, dancing, yoga), performance activities (sing and sign, shows and pantomimes).
To support our Members in pursuing a healthy lifestyle, including diet and exercise.
To ensure the physical, emotional, cultural and religious needs of our Members are met.
To attend and complete trainings in accordance with the company's policies.
To establish healthy, appropriate and supportive relationships with our Members and their parents/carers/families.
To provide personal care for our Members (this duty requires that applicants are over eighteen years old)

Constructing training programmes and organising relevant courses for professional and personal development.
Providing a named mentor who will regularly check in on personal and professional progress and mental wellbeing.
Ensuring detailed information on A.J's Academy Ltd.'s policies and procedures is provided.
Organising regular performance appraisals with Seniors and Management, to discuss progress and ensure the team feel supported and listened to.
