OVERVIEW
Harnham is partnering with an early-stage fintech start-up in the credit loan industry. The company aims to provide personalised financial solutions and credit cards to help to improve their customer's credit score. They are looking to hire a Senior DataScientist to join their team and help the company to grow.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Data Scientist will include but not be limited to:

Building and implementing predictive credit risk models
Working with thirdparty data providers to define the data for model building
Build credit score models for the probability of default and exposure of default data.
Using machine learning algorithms and statistical modelling to derive insights
Present findings to a nontechnical audience
Lead and manage stakeholders from payment firms to understand their needs.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A successful Senior Data Scientist will have the following:

2-5+ years experience as a data scientist, building statistical models in Python
Experience with credit risk modeling including building probability of default models
Understanding of credit portfolio management
Experience working with Python, SQL and R.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Experience leading projects
Interest in credit risk and financial services
