We are looking to expand the pool of
digital media production professionals that we work with.

We are interested in self shooters, editors, drone operators, sound recordists/designers, motion designers and especially individuals or companies that can demonstrate a range of these skills to work with us.

  • Factory International is building its digital spaces to become a destination for people locally, and across the globe. Developing and promoting conversations with our audiences, cocreating and connecting with them to ensure they feel involved and represented. will become an artistic, creative and playful spacehousing bold and imaginative content that engages and inspires our audiences. _

We want to hear from:

  • Videographers
  • Creative production companies
  • Video editors
  • Shooting producer/directors
  • Sound designers
  • Motion designers
  • Drone operators


We're looking creative individuals, partnerships and companies that as well as demonstrating a profound technical ability also consider their work a craft or artistic pursuit.


We match people to projects that fit their skills and experience, which means your start date and contract length will depend on the project you work on.


These roles will deliver;

  • Facilitate the production & postproduction of content for MIF23 and Factory International
  • Creation and facilitation of digital content, working to briefs provided by Factory International. That could include, but is not limited to; original content, short form social media assets, trailers and documentation captures.
  • Requires a passion and knowledge of what works across the content spectrum digitally and on all social media platforms
  • Ensure that the delivery of the brief works within the budget, timescale and parameters of the project, including the Factory International style guide
  • Management and delivery of media to Factory International
  • To work within Factory International compliance policies, including Editorial guidelines, referring on matters of potential controversy

What we're looking for;

  • Knowledge and experience of the latest production techniques and technologies and the technical skills to produce quality content across online platforms
  • Experience working in content creation, be that in social, digital or documentary format
  • Experience of editing content at scale, in various formats and with strict deadlines
  • Experience in editing creative projects working to specific briefs with various wants and needs narrative and promotional
  • Skills in postproduction processes including colourcorrection, audio and exporting
projects to various technical specifications

  • Access to production quality equipment to capture the briefs in all their splendour
  • Please note that these roles will be on site and in person, so being based in Manchester or within a reasonable commuting distance is essential._

WHAT'S NEXT
We expect to start getting in touch with people in MAY with most shows needing dedicated support from roughly JUNE then throughout the Festival period (29 June - 16 July 2023)
