Nicholas Hendry is currently recruiting for a brand-new role, with a leading Glenrothes-based business that is currently looking to add to their growing team.

Our client is a large Fife based employer that has recently embarked upon an exciting period ofexpansion.

Working closely with the Finance manager, you'll assist with both the monthly payroll process, and Accounts payable administrative duties. You'll prepare bank reconciliations, process month-end journals & support with the wider month-end process.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Process monthly salaries for 250+ employees
  • Ensure payroll compliance, issuing AE letters for pension scheme, P45's
  • Maintain company pension portal, new starts, leavers and upload contributions
  • Primary point of escalation for all daytoday payroll issues
  • Assist with processing of invoices/credit notes/payments
  • Ensure vendor account balances are correct and accurate
  • Maintain the company's bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process month end journals and assist with month end activities
  • Identify and help implement process improvements
  • Support finance team with ad hoc activities and projects
  • Liaise with finance and operational teams as required
