Spectrum IT Consultancy are a small company, supporting education institutions in East London and businesses across the UK.
Overview:
We are offering an exciting opportunity to develop your IT skills under the guidance of two 3rd line engineers and be part of a growing Managed Service Provider.
Main responsibilities:
- Capturing and recording information required in order to correctly prioritise tickets
- Resolving technical tickets both at supported schools and remotely
- Escalate tickets to next line within SLA's
- Communicating ticket progress with customer contact
- Advise and adhere to recommended security guidelines
- Achieving training goals set by your line manager in your Personal Development Plan
- Provide onsite assistance to customers within their premises during scheduled visits
- Providing basic training to clients on how to use new IT equipment, I.e. tablets and laptops
- Implementing requested changes to Cloud SaaS services including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspaces
- Identify trends in tickets to proactively address issues and suggest fixes
- Update and maintain documentation

- Azure Active Directory
- Microsoft Teams
- Understanding of TCP/IP

- DNS
- VPN
- Firewalls and Switches
- Routers
- General telephony
- Troubleshooting printers
Entry requirements:
The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
