Job Title:

ACTIVITIES CO-ORDINATOR

Responsible To:
Home Manager

Post Objective:
Under the direction of the Manager or designated Duty Manager

provide a

range of activities as a member of the care team designated to meet the

social needs of clients according to their identified individual

needs.

_Summary of main tasks/principal responsibilities_ _:_

In conjunction with the Home Manager develop an activity programme for social care and provide a written report for the Manager to form part of the monthly report.
Deliver group programmes of social care for clients.
Promote and maintain independence through activity programmes.
Demonstrate respect for individual choice, dignity and privacy.
Keep records of social activities in their care plans
As directed by the Manager ensure standards as laid down within polices and procedures are met to ensure a quality service is maintained always.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and development and supervision.
Be actively responsible for the home's fund-raising activities source outside agencies in the area.
Be actively involved in residents/family's group meetings to find out what works and does not work.
To be flexible with your working hours and be involved in other caring tasks such as refreshment trolley.
