Be part of an award-winning family orientated organisation, where you'll be a vital part of the team supporting the administration and accounting functions in a friendly office environment, whilst gaining security in a permanent role along with other employeebenefits tooIn the Administrator job, you will be:
- Processing orders daily and creating accounts for new customers and suppliers
- Issuing customer invoices and monthly statements
- Processing payments, remittances and chasing overdue invoices
- Processing supplier invoices / credit notes and crossreferencing statements
- Collating and preparing information for weekly and month end payments
- General administration duties; data handling, filing, documentation, archiving, post
- Supporting other staff members with lunch/holiday cover on reception, answering the phones and welcoming visitors
- Comply with all health and safety guidance and following procedures at all times
- Administration / Accounts / Office experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- IT experience including data inputting, keyboard accuracy, and the use of Microsoft 365 and Excel spreadsheets
- Previous accounts experience including Purchase/Sales Ledger and Sage accounts (advantage)
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills with an exemplary attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence _(due to the location of the organisation)_
In return, an annual salary IRO £22,500 is on offer, with a view to increase following training and probationary period).
