A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within the Haematology department for a part time secretary to support our new CAR-T service at St Jamess Hospital.

In January 2021, the newly established CAR-T cell therapy service treated its first patient.

Over the last 2 years further CAR-T indications have been approved by NHSE which has increased the referral numbers we receive.

We now currently have around 30 patients under Car-T review with many more to come

You will need to be able to demonstrate exceptional skills in customer care and, in particular, ensure all matters relating to your work are dealt with in a sensitive and timely manner.

You will be able to adapt and prioritise your workload and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
