Description

Following a spate of new contract awards, a Glasgow-based Main Building Contractor is looking to recruit a Site Engineer to join their team.

With a proven track record in developing and promoting new talent, they provide an excellent platform for any Site Engineers with ambitions to progress into management.

Projects range in value, typically between £10m - £20m, encompassing both steel and concrete frame buildings for both public and private sector clients.

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for;

Leading all engineering & technical aspects relating to the successful delivery of projects.
Produce Risk Assessments & Method Statements for engineering/technical works packages.
Liaising with design partners ensuring design buildability and sourcing effective solutions to any design/technical issues that arise.
Prepare work package plans.
Identify and plan for material, plant and resource requirements in line with programme.

Proven experience as a Site Engineer in a main contracting environment
Preferably experience working on steel or concrete frame building projects valuing in the £10m+ range
Good communication and leadership skills
