Finance Business Partner

Up to £35,000 (DOE)

TSR Legal are proud to be working with one of the leading & largest ABS's who now have an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join their legal team in Cardiff.

The role will see the Finance BP provide financial support across business.

The role will vary in its nature and complexity, which provides a great opportunity to gain a wide knowledge of a fast-moving business, involvement in the continued innovation ofthat business and to build strong relationships within the organisation and its partners.

Role Responsibilities will include:

Develop a close working relationship with the financial reporting team, to understand and challenge the validity of the monthly outputs.
Ad hoc project work, providing financial modelling to the operational areas to aid decisionmaking
Ensuring robust financial controls are in place, testing of controls and communicating areas for improvement.
Liaising with the Group finance team to ensure reporting requirements are met and intercompany recharges are accurate.
Assisting in the annual budget and five year plan preparation.
Assisting in promoting a cost control environment across the business by improving knowledge of the cost base

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Qualified accountant with strong academic background and strong numeracy and analytical skills
Selfmotivator, with the ability to work independently and as part of the team, and demonstrative initiative
The ability to multitask and manage a diversified workload
Good understanding of the controls environment required within a finance department
Experience of financial modelling and / or budgeting is beneficial
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external business partners / stakeholders.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential
