Responsibilities include:

Developing and documenting forecasting approaches across various lending, deposit, and securities products.

The approach should incorporate existing methodologies, working with EMEA Finance and the forecasting teams in India and the USA.

Work with Finance and Controllers groups to determine the scope of information required and any specific or ad hoc legal entity requirements.
Document the process, scope findings and limitations affecting any the model in accordance with internal governance processes.
Build required reports in a suitable format to allow organizational changes to be made in the future, as necessary. The reports must include sufficient checks to underlying data to mitigate processing risks and to support audit reviews.
Document full process desk instructions for transition to Report Processing Team and provide support in the transition period, as required

Requirements:

Working knowledge of Forecasting methods for Corporate and Investment Banking products (including but not exclusive of lending, treasury management, securities).
At least partqualified Accountant with experience in financial and/or management reporting in a financial services firm.
Proven record of report writing skills with the ability to run with a project and complete it to a high standard within the required timeframe
Working knowledge of Transfer Pricing and/or cost allocation methodologies
Analytical mind, with good problem solving skills.
Degree educated.
Strong Business Intelligence tools and MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint), and systems skills.
