An exciting interim role where your finance work will have an indirect impact on a really important charitable cause for this small charity based in West Yorkshire delivering some really critical services across the local community.

What you'll be doing...

You will be providing financial support to the senior management team, managing a very competent finance officer and supporting the audit covering whilst the current Head of Finance is off on sickness leave.

You'll be sensitive to this situation and be supportive and empathetic in your approach.

What you'll need to offer...

For this Interim Head of Finance role, ideally you'll be a fully qualified CCAB (ACA / ACCA / CIPFA ) or CIMA accountant or will have substantial experience within a charity finance setting.

If you have previous experience of working within a charity or knowledge of charity Finance it would be useful, but if you don't have this experience of supporting audits within an SME sized organisation would also be helpful.

This a full time role as a permanent position, but it could be covered by someone looking to do 3 or 4 days per week so it's an option to be either a full or part time Head of Finance for an initial 3 month period.

In terms of location, you'll need to be based in the West Yorkshire area with a full UK RTW, but the role can be completed on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 1 day per week if you are doing 3 days, probably more like 2 -3 days onsite if you are full time.
