Description

We're on the hunt for a talented and experienced Marketing Officer for a 12 month maternity cover position.

You will support the Marketing and Campaigns team to deliver the student recruitment marketing plans centrally and to ensure appropriate representation and promotion of Academic Schools as part of joined up customer journeys.

Exciting work you will do**Duties span across the whole spectrum of marketing, including copywriting, editing, updating the website, competitor reviews, CRM communications, running social media campaigns, and assisting with event marketing which support the University's objectives in relation to its student recruitment, marketing and broader reputation and engagement.

Undergraduate full and part time
Postgraduate full and part time and international audiences
Academic Schools relating to Health and Sciences
Academic Schools relating to the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

The skills and experience you will need to be successful

Minimum of one year experience in a similar marketing role (essential)
A good first degree or recognised equivalent (desirable)
A Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification or equivalent (plus)
Experience of developing and implementing customerfocused and integrated marketing plans utilising the full communications mix
Familiarity with Higher Education and/or experience of working with students
Basic understanding of project and campaign management skills ability to manage simultaneous tasks, prioritising multiple deadlines and managing relationships with a number of stakeholders and agencies

Details about the role
Fixed term up to 12 months, or until the postholder returns from maternity leave.

Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus are arranged with the line manager.
