Financial Controller - Manchester, United Kingdom - Reed Finance

A newly created opportunity has become available with a well established, excellent growing business located in Manchester City Centre. The role is for a Financial Controller on a 12 month basis with hybrid working.Duties of the role will include:
- The production and management of all accounting documents including sales invoices.
- The production and presentation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial management packs.
- Production of an annual and updated budget with presentation.
- Production of monthly and rolling annual profit & cashflow forecasts.
- Timely filing of VAT returns.
- Full cash management responsibilities including supplier payments, robust collection processes and nonpayment issue resolution.
- Management of employee benefits including pensions, private medical care and life insurance.
- Provide financial knowledge support to team members who are less financially aware.
- Internal management and control of client and supplier commercial contracts once agreed by the sales team.
- Ensure appropriate training and development plans are in place for all team members and that regular reviews take place to monitor progress and skills gaps.
