Job Type:
Full-time (Mon-Fri), Fixed Term - 12 months


Location:

PBS (Ponticelli UK) are looking for a Repair Order Work Preparator to join our team. This role is to support the delivery of Repair Orders, ensuring scopes are delivered within budget and on schedule, whilst maintaining technical integrity


Details/duties:


  • As required organise, plan, and coordinate the Survey, Engineering, Fabrication and Construction activities associated with Piping and Structural Work / Repair Orders.
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors working on behalf of PBS.
  • Define Piping / Structural technical repair specification, build and Issue SOW / RFQ proposals for Survey, Engineering & Fabrication.
  • Attend client asset inspection review meetings to gain insight to Repair Order content and priorities.
  • Select the most efficient method to repair a given defect, ensuring compliance with the client GS Specifications, PED / PSSR Laws and legislation.
  • Define, plan, and manage Repair Order content within construction campaigns.
  • Liaise with Asset Onshore & Offshore Engineering team for scheduling, scope / work site preparation.
  • Maintain and communicate status of Repair Orders to the Client
  • Ensure Repair Orders are planned and prioritised in line with the integrity of the Asset / maintenance management system.
  • Manage Piping/Structural Layout and Piping/Structural discipline engineering activities within budget and schedule, whilst maintaining technical integrity.
  • When the scope dictates engage & coordinate Subcontractors and inhouse / external engineering resources (E&I, Pipe Stress, Process).
  • Coordinate / prepare / check Engineering deliverables such as engineering SOW's, engineering drawings & construction workpacks.
  • Coordinate / prepare full survey, engineering, fabrication, and construction cost estimates.
  • Materials management, delivery & expediting.
  • Present opportunities for continuous improvement within the PBS organisation.
  • Ensure that the safety and quality rules are complied with.

Qualifications/Experience required:


  • Experience in similar position
  • Proven oil & gas industry experience
  • HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or equivalent working experience
  • SAP working knowledge of Inspection Repair Order Reports, Work Order Preparation and Planning
  • Strong proficiency in piping and mechanical construction
  • Manage in challenging context
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer service skills, building and maintaining relationships
  • Technical HSE awareness
