We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join an exciting technology company based in Central Cambridge.

The company are looking at Lawyers with experience In house or in a Private Practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a friendly, collaborative and professional In house Legal Team.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and draft contracts with partners who license the company's technology.
  • Assist in growing revenue for the company and Provide legal support to the Sales and Licensing teams.
  • Oversee a wide variety of contracts, including technology licenses for hardware and software, novation agreements, and other types of commercial contracts.
  • Building crossteam relationships across the organisation, and within the legal teams.
  • Being responsive and working as effectively as possible with key partners in a way to further develop relationships with such partners from a legal perspective.
  • Promoting the company's core beliefs and behaviours in the work that you do.
  • Drafting and negotiating experience.
  • Experience working across cultures and in a fast paced inhouse legal environment.
  • Good knowledge of contract and intellectual property law applicable, licensing, and commercial contracts.
  • Experience negotiating agreements for commercial outbound agreements with Sales.
  • Ability to critically analyse and willingness to challenge the status quo to drive efficiencies.
