An opportunity has arisen for a Post-Graduate Teaching Administrator to provide administrative support to ensure the efficient organisation and smooth running of the Department of Public Health and Primary Care's MPhil Teaching Programme.


The role holder will perform administrative and secretarial duties to ensure the efficient organisation and smooth running of the MPhil in Population Health Sciences (PHS) (a partnership between the Department of Public Health and Primary Care, MRC Biostatistics and MRC Epidemiology).


The successful applicant will be educated to GCSE standard including English and Mathematics (or hold equivalent qualifications) or have equivalent experience.

They must have excellent organisational skills, be IT literate with experience using the Microsoft Office package, particularly Word and Excel.

They will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to manage their time effectively. They should have experience managing databases and websites. Experience of working with the University administration systems (CAMSIS) is desirable.

The position is for 22 hours per week worked over three days. There is some flexibility on working days but preferences are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Location - Department of Public Health and Primary Care, East Forvie Building, University Forvie Site, Robinson Way, Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge CB2 0SR (approximately 2 miles south of the city centre)

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 30 September 2026 in the first instance.
