A leading multi-site food manufacturer is recruiting NOW for a Hygiene Team Leader to work Monday to Friday lates (12pm to 8pm) at their Ilkeston site.

In return I am offering a salary of £27,00.

You already working within a hygiene team, ideally within food manufacturing with some supervisory experience - you could be carrying out stand in duties and now be ready to take your next step.


THE JOB
As Hygiene Team Leader you will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee and coordinate the deep cleaning of all production machinery
  • Looking at existing hygiene schedules, review and adapt as necessary
  • Liaising with the Hygiene Manager to ensure the hygiene function is adequately staffed
  • Work with third party service providers such as pest control
  • Deal with the daytoday delegation of work load to the team
  • Manage staffing concerns such as absences / annual leave requests

THE PERSON
You will undoubtedly be a confident, highly driven individual.

In addition to this you will be:

  • Experienced working within a hygiene team ideally within food


  • Hold HACCP level

  • Strong knowledge of BRC
  • Hold a safety qualification such as IOSH
