The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing six secondary schools, 13 primary schools, a Teaching School Hub, and School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider.

Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield, North Warwickshire and Coventry.


We have an exciting opportunity for Hub Lead Designated Safeguarding & Vulnerable Children Leads to work within the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership.

These are newly created roles, to support school leaders to safeguard children. The role has 2 key areas of responsibility.

Firstly, you will take lead responsibility for safeguarding children and child protection (including online safety) in each school ensuring that the school is meeting its legal statutory requirements as laid out in Keeping Children Safe in Education.

Secondly, you will oversee and advocate for vulnerable children (SEND,

Disadvantaged/Looked After Children) in each school in the Hub.

You will work closely with the Trust Safeguarding and Vulnerable Children Leads and the schools Leadership Teams. You will be responsible for a hub of several primary schools, the hubs are as follows;
Central Hub -Tamworth/Sutton Coldfield - (Two Gates, William MacGregor, Coton Green, Hill West, Curdworth Schools)

South Hub - Erdington/Sutton Coldfield - (Osborne, Brookvale, Slade, Mere Green Schools)

North Hub - Lichfield (Scotch Orchard, St.
Michaels, St. Chads, Greysbrooke Schools)

Location:
The role will be based at a specific school in the allocated hub.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement of the role.
