**Fixed term contract until 27 February 2025 | £21,575 to £21,968 per annum (Scale D) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, NorwichWe are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our busy IMT Service Desk team as an Information Management & Technology Apprentice.
The role involves a high level of customer contact, as the IMT Service Desk is the primary point of contact for users to report incidents, service requests and make other enquiries.
You will be required to obtain appropriate and useful information from the customer over the telephone effectively, accurately and in a timely manner, to assist in the timely resolution of their request.
You will need to have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing an efficient and effective IMT incident recording and routing service for customers which include NCC Members, Chief Officers, NCC staff, and users from partner organisations.
You should also be highly motivated to begin a career in IT, with a strong interest in technology and the ability to balance the necessary learning and project work elements of the apprenticeship alongside your work on the Service Desk.
After working on the Service Desk for around 12 months you will progress to a second line support team where you can further enhance your IT skills.
