PURPOSE OF JOB:


  • To provide administration support to the Walsall for All partnership activity, strategy and vision
  • To contribute to projects and targets as set out by the Walsall for All partnership and participate in any initiatives that promote social integration and cohesion.
  • To proactively support the administration of Walsall for All partnership and provide administrative support to relevant teams ie Aaina Community Hub, Walsall Council
  • To support any projects aimed at reducing disadvantage faced by different communities and taking into account any underrepresentation, barriers or disability.
  • To work in partnership with other voluntary, community and public sector organisation.
To contribute to the building of good relations between different groups.


SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

The post holder will be required to undertake a DBS check.

The apprentice will be, on occasions, required to attend weekend or evening events, meetings and conferences.

The apprentice will be encouraged to develop a good understanding of accessibility needs (e.g. interpretation, translation, transcription or any other methods of communication).


MAIN ACTIVITIES:


Day to day purpose of the apprenticeship will be to contribute to coordination and management of the Walsall for All partnership's activity, diary prioritisation and events planning, supporting meetings, training as well as development of filing systems and databases.

The apprentice will be responsible for business administration of Walsall for All partnership and related teams, including Finance.


The apprentice will coordinate business communication with the Walsall for All partnership Board, Walsall Council and a wider voluntary and community sector.

Provide administrative support for development and implementation of the Walsall for All strategy.


Support colleagues and teams in raising awareness of the Walsall for All partnership using different means of communication, including social media.

Contribute to gathering intelligence around social integration and Equality and diversity.

Maintain basic working knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures.

Carry out any other ad hoc duties relating to own service area or from collaboration with other services.

Part-time, Fixed term contract


Salary:
£15,600.00-£18,000.00 per year
