As we transition to automated data tools and integrate from Siebel to Salesforce (CRM), ensuring our Marketing, Fundraising, and Engagement (MFE) directorate's data is efficient, accurate, and robust is a critical part of this challenge.

As a Senior CRM Interface Executive, you'll be part of this journey by coordinating the operational data loading schedule onto our fundraising database in line with data quality rules and compliance guidelines.

This role is not purely technical, you'll provide data expertise and problem-solving whilst partnering with technical teams to deliver data solutions and automation across the charity's CRM and data tools.

This will involve jointly coordinating, monitoring, and planning the Data team's day-to-day workload and escalating any issues to senior management to ensure our data projects and initiatives are completed within agreed SLAs.

What will I be doing?

  • Delivering operational work within the Data team to ensure MFE data is loaded onto the charity's fundraising database in line with the identified data quality rules and compliance guidelines.
  • Coordinating with other members of the team to ensure the operational schedule of data being loaded onto the marketing database from 3rd party suppliers is within agreed timeframes and SLAs.
  • Ensuring all data is loaded in adherence with the predefined data quality standards and compliance regulations.
  • Monitoring daily data integration workflows via Informatica ensuring all data errors have been rectified through daily checks.
  • Carrying out regular reviews and continuous improvements of the team's working practices and processes whilst proactively thinking of new ways to streamline to reduce resources and costs.
  • Contributing to data integrations and DI system projects on an adhoc basis.
  • Coordinating with the team to ensure database requests to create reference data, event codes, and lists of values are completed within agreed SLAs.
  • Executing data testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data adheres to the correct spec and format before going live.
  • Providing feedback to data suppliers (internal or external) where data does not meet required standards and liaising with internal account managers.
  • Being the first point of contact for 3rd party data queries maintaining a professional working relationship with our 3rd party suppliers and departments across Cancer Research UK.
  • Coordinating supplier onboarding and making changes to existing supplier feeds or establishing new data feeds.
  • Escalating issues to the management team in a timely manner and suggesting solutions where possible.
What skills are you looking for?

  • Relevant experience importing and maintaining data integrity on supporter/customer/ and/ or financial databases.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Siebel and/ or Salesforce).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with a history of using and manipulating large volumes of data.
  • Worked in an environment that required a flexible and dynamic approach to meet everchanging scenarios and challenges.
  • Managed and prioritised challenging workloads.
What will I gain?

Each and every one of our employees contributes to our progress and is supporting our work to beat cancer. We think that's impressive.

In return, we make sure you are supported by a generous benefits package, a wide range of career and personal development opportunities and high-quality tools, policies and processes to enable you to do your job well.

Our benefits package includes a substantial retirement plan, a generous and flexible leave allowance, discounts on anything from travel to technology, gym membership, and much more
