Description

Due to continued growth, A.W. Jenkinson Forest Products has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Buyer to help strengthen the Arb Residue purchasing team. This position will be based at our head office in Clifton, Penrith.
- sourcing materials for a number of our key processing sites across the UK
- cold calling and follow-up calls with existing customers
- providing a high level of customer service at all times
- building and managing relationships with potential and existing customers/clients
- have the ability to communicate effectively with the team and customers
- be able to provide accurate and up to date information whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- be goal driven and able to work to deadlines

Have excellent I.T. and administration skills which are essential for this role
Be able to communicate with all areas of the business including suppliers, hauliers, and contractors

An understanding of the arboriculture and timber markets is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
