Full-Time, 6 month temporary contract

Portsmouth Port

Salary:

£21,249 per annum (with the possibility of a permanent contract and increased salary to £
23,181 after six months employment).

Full-Time Port Operations Assistants work an average of 37.5 hours per week in shifts, to cover either early morning or late-night opening hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

This role is highly customer focused and suits positive, resilient individuals who possess a considerable degree of flexibility and a clear enthusiasm for variation.

Key responsibilities include engaging with our passengers to deliver an exceptional check-in service, making bookings, answering queries, and dealing with complaints, both in person and over the phone.

Excellent Communication, interpersonal and problemsolving skills
Strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Ability to work under pressure
Strong team player
Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer service role beneficial
French or Spanish language skills an advantage but not essential
