Executive Assistant:

Salary £25,000 annually

Reports to Chairman


Global Travel Investments (GTI) is a Manchester-based event management company working within the aviation sector globally, providing not only events worldwide, but also platforms promoting the aviation industry generally.


Basic Description:

  • Support GTI & Chairman generally.
  • Specific areas of Event organization and delivery.
  • Responsible for several people in Chairman's office.
  • HR knowledge.

Special Notes:

  • Wellpresented person with good interpersonal skills is essential.
  • Organisational, admin and other similar skills desirable.
In general,

  • Speak and write fluent English; a second language may also be useful but is not a requirement.


  • Basic PC literacy

Business Development Assistant/Manager (Airlines & Airports):
Salary 22K-25K depending on experience.

Reports to the Board.

  • Special focus on airlines and airports for GTI.
  • Identifying business opportunities, from delegates to potential exhibitors & sponsors.
  • Research, sales support and assist direct recruitment as required.
  • Assistance with specific events.

Special Notes:

  • Knowledge on social media sales generation.
  • May suit ex cabin crew or airline/airport experience genera.

Events Producer (Deputy):

Salary 22k-25k depending on experience.

Reports to COO.


Global Travel Investments (GTI) is a Manchester-based event management company working within the aviation sector globally, providing not only events worldwide, but also platforms promoting the aviation industry generally.


Basic Description:

  • Support COO with Demonstration/Show/Visit elements of GTI events.
  • Operate in different time zones as event requires.
  • Special eye for detail and show content, e.g. videos and 3D animation.
- 'Anything-is-possible' mentality.

  • Attending site visits and production meeting as required.
  • Maintaining high standards of production for all shows, including dealing with technicians handling lighting, sound, video, set and staging, electrical infrastructure, communications, and any other technical equipment necessary for the running of the live show previous to the day and on the day.
  • Research of suppliers e.g., audio visual companies, local printing businesses, etc.
  • Help selling items connected to 'Show' e.g. static displays, shells, chalets, naming rights, etc.
  • Liaising with exhibitors & sponsors to ensure readiness for the event/show.
  • Help assisting exhibitors & sponsors on the show/event day.
  • Love of event/live shows production and creativeness.

Special Notes:

  • Ability to rapidly grasp and problem solve operational issues.
  • Proactive with strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Would suit a person with flexible ability to travel, such a, airportbased ground handlers or staff from airports and airlines generally.
