Are you a qualified Teaching assistant based in, or have easy access to Oldbury in Sandwell?Do you have a passion for inclusion and working with SEND?
Aspire people are currently working with a school in Oldbury who are seeking a Teaching assistant to work within a small class of KS1 students with complex ASD for a January 2023 start date.
The role is working within a KS1 class setting of approximately 6 children supporting children with complex ASD alongside the additional members of staff within the class.
Staff all work together to create a warm, sensory environment where the students canbe stimulated and have access to elements of the curriculum.
Each staff member is assigned to a student to work with on a 1:1 basisIf you feel you could offer the school, the support they need then please get in touch.
As a full time, teaching assistant, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected.
- Support children with complex ASD
- Support the class teacher with daily activities
- Assess achievements of the pupils
- Ensure the children has access to the curriculum
- Liaise with parents
I can offer very good rates of pay and I will be available 24/7 for you should you need my help with anything.
