Accounts Payable Clerk - 6 month fixed term contract

Salary up to £22K dependant on experience:


  • Location: Sunderland with hybrid working
T2M Resourcing are recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk for this leading national company. The business will support hybrid working and are currently working 2 to 3 days a week in the office. This role is offered initially as a 6 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader as Accounts Payable Clerk, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • High volume purchase invoice and credit note processing
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements daily
  • Provide a reliable, accurate and timely service in response to all supplier and invoice enquiries
  • Deliver outstanding levels of customer service for all operating companies and suppliers
  • Proactively reduce the quantity of price and quantity variances, query and investigate any variances with purchasing, stores and suppliers.
  • General administrative tasks
  • Support wider team during month end process
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of accounts payable in a similar role within a sizeable business
  • Accurate and timely data processing with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Microsoft Office skills specifically Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Oracle experience preferred
  • Work well as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work effectively from home

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
£20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
